Generating new Sales : The sales team is responsible for developing new leads for growing the business. This is done through cold calling, email communications, networking within the industry 

Quoting for business: The team is responsible for generating information of current market rates and available capacities in different regions and by various transportation providers which is in then used for quoting to our customers for their logistical needs. 

Logistical planning: The team is responsible for providing the best options in terms of cost effectiveness and timelines at both the quoting stage and order fulfilment stage. 

Service delivery: Upon receipt of an order, the team is responsible for tracking the movement of cargo, assigning carriers, planning and co-ordinating schedules ensure no delays or cost overruns, managing clear communications with carriers and customers, handling any logistical hiccups and resolving them and ensuring timely delivery. Also responsible for warehouse management.

Invoicing and Accounting: The team is responsible to ensure all charges are accurately accounted for, vendors are paid and invoices created for customers. Also follow up with customers as per their payment terms and ensure payments are realized. Responsibilities also include year-end compliance and filings.
